Stone wool core  (ΕΝ 13162)

Reaction to fire: A2-s1,d0
Non-combustible; does not produce smoke or flaming droplets/particles during combustion.
Density: 100 kg/m³ and 120 kg/m³
Its mechanical strength makes it suitable for structural applications, as it can withstand external pressures and building loads.
Thermal conductivity (λ): 0.033 W/mK
Its low thermal conductivity provides excellent insulation, reducing heat losses and supporting the building’s energy performance.
Water/vapour permeability: μ = 1
The low water vapour resistance supports low moisture absorption and increased resistance to corrosion and wear, making it suitable for humid environments and harsh weather conditions.
Sound insulation: Thanks to its density, it delivers excellent acoustic performance.
Durability: Retains its properties without deterioration or breakdown over time.
Environmental performance: Biosoluble
Free from substances hazardous to health, recyclable, and manufactured in line with environmental standards.

Available Options

Simple Polyester

Nominal coating thickness: <20μm ± 5μm
Surface texture: smooth
The most widely used and cost-effective coating option. Suitable for external and internal surfaces and typically used for building applications inland (1,000 metres from the coastline) in normal environmental conditions (non-corrosive atmospheres, with or without low air pollution). Provides adequate protection (RC3) and long-term aesthetic performance.

Durable PVC Plastisol

Nominal coating thickness: 200μm
Surface texture: orange peel
A “self-healing” coating with the ability to recover from minor damage. Known for excellent durability and ideal for demanding environments.

High Hygiene req PVC

Nominal coating thickness: 120μm
Surface texture: smooth
Colour: white
A “foodsafe” coating offering excellent antibacterial protection. Suitable for projects with high hygiene requirements, including applications where the surface may come into contact with food.

High req PVDF

Nominal coating thickness: 50μm
Ideal for high-spec architectural projects where aesthetics are a priority. Offers high wear resistance and long-term colour retention, even after prolonged UV exposure and adverse weather. Classified as s1 for reaction to fire (low smoke production), making it suitable for building applications with elevated fire-safety requirements.

They are fixed to the supporting structure using the standard exposed-fix method.
They can be installed either vertically or horizontally.
For horizontal installation, the use of a top hat is recommended to cover the vertical joint.
Sealing materials must be used on both horizontal and vertical joints.

The panel joint design, combined with sealing materials, achieves:

  • Minimisation of thermal bridging
  • Prevention of air and moisture ingress
  • Reduced installation time
  • Limited need for additional accessories
